Domestic Violence Survivors Not Willing to Leave Pets Behind
A few years ago, Interface became one of the only pet-friendly emergency shelters in Southern California thanks to support from Purina and their RedRover Purple Leash Project. In the video below, domestic violence survivor, Angie, describes what it meant to her and her children to be able to flee abuse without having to leave Princess behind. Interface’s Safe Haven Shelter, sponsored this year by Sherwood Country Club Foundation and it’s pet program are possible only with help from a caring community and the annual Love is Brewing Luncheon.
