A Word From Our Executive Director
50 Years of Service
Since 1973, Interface has been committed to serving children, individuals, families, and communities. Fifty years ago, volunteer leaders from across our community identified a critical lack of support for runaway teens. Their care and concern gave way to early projects like “Cool Homes,” which housed youth in crisis, and eventually founded Interface. Over the years, Interface’s responsiveness to community needs has led to programs and services that have evolved to meet the demands facing individuals throughout the region. Now, as the county’s most comprehensive provider of social services, Interface continues to seek innovative solutions to respond to the needs of our dynamic community.

Forward Thinking
Interface is committed to continuing to provide responsive, caring, and critical programs and services for children, teens, individuals, and families both within Ventura County and throughout the region. Even more, we are committed to addressing the systemic issues at the heart of those needs, eradicating violence, seeking justice, healing, and creating healthier, stronger, and more resilient systems of care. In partnership and collaboration, our community will thrive!
