What is the one thing you can do to help prevent domestic violence?

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time of year when we ask you to become informed, active and engaged. Give what you can, spread the word and support Interface’s ability to equip young children and teens with the tools they need to be safe from the lifelong effects of trauma associated with abuse.

30% of abused and neglected children will later abuse their own children. This includes children who have experienced and witnessed violence at home or had their innocence stolen at the hands of someone they knew and trusted.

Domestic Violence can be prevented!  It is a learned behavior.  This is why it is so important for you to support Interface, the only organization committed to educating as many children and youth as possible to prevent the cycle of violence from continuing.
