Survivor Services
Emergency Response Team
In-person support is available to adult survivors of trafficking when requested by law enforcement or medical providers. Advocates address immediate needs, offer referrals to services, inform survivors of their rights, and explore exit strategies to safely move away from the trafficking.
Emergency Shelter
We operate two confidential shelter programs for adult survivors of trafficking; HEART House (Helping to End, Address and Respond to Trafficking) and RESST Shelter (Recognizing, Empowering and Supporting Survivors of Trafficking) – one for men and one for women. The shelters offer a safe and supportive residential setting in which survivors can begin to heal from their trauma and work towards reclaiming their independence.
Community-Based Advocacy Program
The CBA program provides in-person support and advocacy that empowers survivors to achieve safety, heal from trauma, and become self-sufficient. This program caters to adults at risk or individuals who have endured trafficking at any point in their life. An advocate is assigned to work alongside the survivor in achieving set goals.
